Just sitting around bored, SO I thought I would spend some money. Looking at the two lights posted. Not sure which one to pull the trigger on. I have admired the SRK’s since I first started collecting lights. BUT, I have heard a lot of great feed back about the XinTD. If you were deciding, which would you buy & why?
I've owned both. The SRK is a million miles ahead of the XinTD.
I personally was not overly impressed by the XinTD. I don't miss it one bit.
That’s the direction I am leaning… Just looking for the best price I can find. FastTech has them for $38… I’ve having trouble with the discount code
With the BLF discount. It cost me $36, not too bad.
You went with the ‘bling-a-ling’ version (gold). Not sure I could show that one in public. 
$36 is a great price, as I hear these FT ones are better quality lately. Maybe not CNQG quality, but you just save $20. I’ve contemplated this too, but I have the 4x18650 wall of light format covered with the modded Yinhex.
Enjoy the SRK, between the two you mentioned, I’d go the same way. Convoy is my C8 format of choice.
If I get caught in public with it. I’ll just just hand it to the Missus… Girls can get away with anything.
Hi Dale. Suncoaster has both these flashlights and I have had the good fortune to compare them recently. If your after a single cell well made light that has a fantastic beam for a C8 sized light this would be hard to go past. If your after a multi cell , multi led light with the runs on the board this would be an excelent light. Just be careful where it is purchased from because of poor qhality reflectors and cheap drivers. If it was me I'd get them both. Cheers.

Different flashlights altogether. Multi emitter & multi cells vs single emitter & single cell. Or per a recent thread, poor PWM vs good PWM.
I'm all for saving money but when it comes to the King. I don't like to take any chances so I order from CNQ.
The light I ordered from Lightmalls before Christmas has a 3 teroid driver but it still doesn't seem like the ones from CNQ. It is much dimmer and it came in a different box.

Personally I think the Xin TD is a much better built flashlight. Although SRK is much brighter, it uses a propriety driver that can't be easily replaced if it should fail. Plus the fact that the positive end of the battery WILL eventually wear the SRK's circuit board's positive end out, I'm not a fan of this design at all
But this is easy to fix, I am thinking on buing a SRK soon, when I receive it i will solder a DIY “washer” with about 1mm thick made of either brass or copper on top of the positive connection board, this way it will last for years. Some people also add solder to the board so it wears the solder and not the board, but i am not a fan of this procedure.
So do you guys recommend without any doubts to get the SRK from CNQG ? What about the Fandyfire from FT the 45$ one ? It looks very good quality, and cheaper!
There was like $5 difference between them… The SRK looks interesting to me. The XinTD will prolly be my next boredom buy…. LOL
I think from the outside the XinTD is average, but the diver and pill are great. I really hated having to dig for the tailcap button. It is recessed to far so you HAVE to use the tip of your thumb to engage it.
Call me crazy, but I would take a C12 over a XinTD C8.
Go for the SRK Dale, it is a great light. I always refer to them as "popcans" because how small they are.

But that being said, they really are two very different lights, and I own both, as should you. 
BTW, I can’t help but think that the new Convoy M1 and M2 might be strong competitors to the XinTD, especially considering the price. (I don’t own them… yet)
I love the xintd, but standard ( blowing my own trumpet here sorry) its not going to cut it against the m10 you have. The skyray king is significantly different to anything else in your collection.
Personally, the next splurge for me will be a shadow sl3, and that wont be for a while ad I’m trying to secure a man cave home for myself and the gords clan.
