It looks like it is made of 4 XP-E like the MC-E

Yeah, looks like a brother of the P7. If so the XM-L is better as it is single die so the beam will be better.

It’s just 4W… XP-G2 or XT-E is much better at that power level, due to much higher quality beam.

Now it “seems” that there are lights with SSC Z7. I say “seems” because I dont know if the LED shown in the photos is the old P7 or the newer Z7. Who knows…

My opinion also is that an XML will perform better. Maybe less lumens, but better eficiency and “shape” of the light

I was considering purchasing one, just to see what it’s all about, and yes these do look like the Z7 in the closeup photos… BUT…

This photo doesn’t instill much confidence. :frowning:

there is another flashlight but with xml which also has the same issue (but even “less centered”)!!

yes, its the new Z7. they just started to carry them…
