This is a neat little host. I purchased it from SuperBuy for around $13.
It appears to share the same reflector as the Convoy M21A.
Takes a 25mm eSwitch driver and a proprietary 25mm mcpcb, which was included with the host.
ESwitch dimensions are the same as Convoy and DDH.
I built up an @INeedMoreLumens 25mm Fet+1 driver which he so graciously designed to work in these hosts. Flashed my favorite version of Anduril 2 successfully.
Then I flowed a Daydream 7070 4500k emitter to the included mcpcb, built the driver and RGB eSwicth pcb and tested everything out. Success!
I used 16ga wires for the emitter, which appear to be about the max that will comfortably fit the pcb.
I really didn’t “need” to use 16ga for this build, but wanted to give it a shot.
The holes drilled in the host are plenty big for 16ga, and may even fit 14ga. I don’t see why you’d want to do that though.
I wasn’t paying much mind to the tail end of the host…but I should have.
While I was testing/setting thermal regulation in Anduril, I felt/heard the tail spring collapse.

Maybe I shouldn’t have used a Tenpower 50XG.
When I first received the host, the thought had crossed my mind to do some sort of a bypass, but in the excitement of the build I glossed over it.
If you’re going to build one of these, I highly recommend you bypass the spring.
I suppose even just a wire bypass soldered to the top, and the bottom tucked between the bottom of the spring where it touches the tailcap would work fine.
My plan is to make a copper disc that has a bypassed spring soldered to it to use as a tail board.
For now I doubled up the spring with a second super chonky spring threaded into the original.
As you can see in the pic, the bottom of the spring simply rests on the non anodized part of the cap and gets sammiched in place with a very hefty retaining ring, which measures 17.78mm.
In conclusion, this is a cool little host. If I had to guess, I would say it is made by the same people who make DDH hosts, as there are several similarities. The bezel is a direct swap with the DDH D2GC and the tail threads are the same.
If you build one, just be sure to pay attention to the tail spring if you are doing a high current build.
