Thought I had it pretty well licked;-) Have my C8 clone for throwing (great for shining deer while walking the dog), the Xtar charger, plenty of 18560s and 14500s…. A p60 XM-L for my motorcycle jacket, the awesome TF R5-A3 on my EDC belt pouch, and one remaining SIPIK AA Zoomie clone. (Gave a bunch of those away.)
Then one night the wife complained that the AA XPG-R5 monster light was really bigger than she wanted to carry on her key chain. She liked it but it was too big for her taste.
Had been forcing myself to avoid this wonderful forum. Oh well, I had a job to do;-) Found Kreisler’s glowing review of the Tank E09 and off to MF I went. Picked up 2, got them in under 2 weeks and they were both FANTASTIC! Blew me away so much I just ordered another 3 to give away and I probably won’t end up with one myself. $60+ gone in a heart beat and I’m thinking of picking up a bigger thrower, having a mod done or maybe getting myself something nice for my birthday.
Other than perhaps getting one of E’s mods for the driver in my C8 I really have more than everything I need. Just briefly touching this forum makes me want so much more.
Oh, well, I’m still keeping a fairly good lid on it. Those Tanks are a really special gift so I don’t feel too bad about it.

I did not buy anything for a while but then stumbled upon that Xtar S1 offer. Pulled the trigger. Now I’m getting like 10 more new 18650 and telling to myself that I need to slow down a bit. But I really want a small thrower …
I was all happy with my current collection, and RL work kept me busy and sane, pushing 300 hours in june. Then, I went on the iNet again. What a bad mistake!
currently, I am waiting for eight more 14500s, four more 18650s, two packs of eneloops (as if the 24 AA’s I already have wouldn’t be enough), two more Sipik SK98, two Xtar MP1 chargers, two Tank007 E06, one Mini-M@glite Pro Plus (cheap offer on amazon, thirty bucks only) and a SureFire E2L-AA (gasps the “S”word!!! I know, I know! But… it just came over me. I was helpless! I just couldn’t resist! OD-greenish HA, 2AA package, and a form factor I really appreciate albeit my modded solarforce T5 with a sandwich shoppe madmax-plus 700mA driver and copper-star XM-L U2 will still blow it away. And even if it doesn’t, my T5 gives me the lasting satisfaction of having modified a light to my liking myself, with a new driver, new emitter and homemade heatsinking)
Half of that stuffy will be given away as gifts (the surefire and the minim@g surely won’t, I have got to keep those for sanity reasons), but still - if I deduct tax, and health insurance, and fixed living costs, I basically spent a whole month’s earning in a little over 20 minutes. sighs
Good to know, HCIT. I blew nearly $400 this month on chargers, batteries, throwers, and drop-ins of various types. I then decided to back off, but not before buying four more! I understand, brother. I understand.
And I thought that me having 4 chargers that can charge 14 batteries simultaniuosly was a bit insane. At least a have a valid excuse by living in a hurricane prone area. My wife is not relly buying that though.
My BLF purchases have started to trickle in, my Ultrafire HD2010 arrived today and I kept thinking it’d be larger. Currently running an 18650 in it until my 26650’s arrive.

Yup. When I first started collecting lights, they were mainly incandescent and Maglite was king. Nowadays I hardly use my incans and I have been slowly converting some of them to leds
