With a newborn, my girlfriend will not be able to ride her horses during daylight now when the dark season in Sweden is creeping up on us. I have to get home from work first……
So, she needs a headlamp/bike light that she can strap to her helmet.
Some input for you guys:
Has to come with attachment for a helmet.
Floody type of lamp rather than throwy
Powerfull
Run time of one hour is enough
Budget, well if there is something in the range of 50-70 USD that would be great but if needed I can up the budget

+1 on the zebralights.
They are very lightweight and the quality is superb.
They also have very efficient electronics.
I recommend the zlt h600 also…I have one and it is a superb headlamp…the range of this light makes it very versatile for everything from camping to night riding on a bike/horse…the small reflector and xml make the beam pretty floody but has enough throw as well…it’s over your budget by 19$ at 89$ but it is well worth the money…

Could be an option…… Only problem is that the only light I own so far is a Sky Ray king. Waiting for a Jacob A60 and a UF2100 modded by E1320.
But, why not, I could order a couple of small powerfull lights

This horse is on it’s toes (a bit newvous) and anything unexpected will make it react so distance in combination with throw is essential.
I have a charger and a few Xtar 18700 so that is not an issue.
More ideas?
I saw the Sky Ray King headlamp in another thread. I’m really impressed with my own King so if I could get something similiar out from a headlamp it would be great.
A bit bulky to put on you head maybe, I do not know……
A friend of mine that does a lot of riding borrowed my warm white XM-L flashlight to see it the light output would suffice. It didn’t…
So I guess you should at least buy something with an well driven XM-L and preferably something with a bit of throw since from what I understand those creatures can be quite fast.

Probably need both the A60 and the 2100 for throw and floody.
If you could bolt that King bike light to a helmet it might work assuming it could be balanced well enough.
For a budget light that is not overly big, perhaps a C8 or similar sized XML thrower might work. Whatever you do, it’s is going to probably need a fairly rigid mount due to probable movement from ground shock. You could try mounting the rubber section of the headband direct to the helment, but the light will probably still need to be secured in the loops.
If a floody XML creates too much reflective light for your setting, then an XPG2 would be the next thing I’d try.

I’d go with a Spark. HKE have the SD73 on offer for $73 at the moment, or the SD52 for $74.
If riding a horse I think the Spark headband (with the overhead strap) would be more secure than the ZL single band.
I have the ST6 460NW, but it might tend to slip a little with the protruding bit.
the h600 has a slot for an overhead strap if you wanted to make one…I made one from a dollarstore headlamp I had laying around and took it off shortly thereafter…it’s not needed on the h600 I found…maybe if I was biking I would add it back but I found it just got in the way for what I was doing…
Funnily enough I don’t actually like the overhead strap on my ST6 - for just walking it’s overkill (and looks even odder than wearing a headlamp) 
As you say, it just gets in the way, but for running, or riding (bike, horse, whatever) it’s probably a good idea.
