Received a P60 dtop in today off eBay. Broken, I was disappointed, but it was cheap. I got to thinking, my emitter on star got here too. Xml-l2.
Thought I’d get suggestions…
What was your original p60? Xml2? Throw a nanjg in there and get it working. What was wrong with the dropin? Can it be fixed?
Have you contacted the seller? It’s their responsibility to ship items to you with adequate protection so that things don’t get damaged.
It says Q5. It might be old, 180 lumens supposedly. Not sure what’s wrong, new to this. I thought I might be better off starting with this.
It was cheap and the bid was less than the postage back I am pretty sure.
It turns out it is fine. It just didn’t have the big outer spring, required in WF 502b.
It was described accurately with photo, so I’ll probably just try to get a spring
A section of 3/4” copper pipe the correct length can stand in for the spring. The length varies by host.
