This is a quick run down of the Sunwayman c20c,which has had my interest since it came out.I had a chance to buy this lightly used from BLF member Mizjif, and I jumped on it.It came carefully packed and in the original box,and if you asked me,no difference from brand new.I now own 4 SWM lights and build, quality and UI is top notch.I switched the c20 to my edc light for the last 3 days at work, instead of the V10r ti.The incredibly small size for an 18650 light is the first thing that attracted me to it and the side switch second. For those wondering about accidental activation,I purposely didn't lock out the switch to test the accidental activation factor.I never once had th
e light turn on by bumping or moving around and at my job, there is plenty of punishment for flashlights. The beam is more floody with a nice large hotspot that gradually blends to a nice even corona.Turbo mode is overkill for most tasks and will step down after 5 minutes to avoid overheating. The low mode could have stood to be lower(moonlight)but is fine for what it is.In a nutshell the c20c is an ultra compact, feature rich, quality flashlight worth consideration. The picture posted show how small the c20 is next to the v10r series, thanks to Mizjif and for anyone on the fence about this one,get it!
Are sunwayman lumens under-rated compared to your other lights?
SWM tends to under rate lumens on all their lights, the c20 scores a little over 600 in turbo and is rated at 450.It's good to know some manufacturers don't fluff up numbers to sell their product.Thrunite was notorious for over rating the catapult which I bought and is nice, but not 1000 lumens.
Has the beam got a green tint?
Just a touch, nothing severe otherwise it would be re-sold,I hate green tints.I seldom use my thrunite xml drop-in because of a case of the “greenies.”
Would you sIthere better or worse than the V10r clip?
This clip is more sturdy and should have been black. The v10r clip was back and shouldn’t have been,oh well can’t have it all.I want to stuff some trits in the tail of the c20 but I dont know if it’s thick enough to do it.
