Hard to believe the Sunwayman D40A is still for sale. I have both the cool and neutral white versions that I bought many years ago. Excellent AA battery flashlights, but personally I don’t like they have battery cages. Nonetheless, they have lots of throw, moonlight mode, and an easy UI. And now they are even more affordable than when I purchased them.

Had to get the D40A and the SRA40 when I saw the deal as I started to collect 4xAA flashlights lately. Not a big fan of battery cages either, but never a deal breaker for me personally. Got a nitecore EA41 for $40 last night too.

Yeah Todd. too bad F10R is CR123A battery. Runs times will be short man. But $15 is great deal.

They been on clearance for a long time. For 5-10 more I like the Thrunite TN4A more than the older D40A. Very similar with easy UI.

I might get the Thrunite TN40. My D40A no longer goes into turbo mode. Its been a shelf queen the last couple of years.
