Sunwayman from HK wow

After a long search and a couple of hiccups (Novatac and DVD porn) the postman delivered my Sunwayman M10A from HKequipment , posted on the 11th May received today 8 days to Spain you can't fault that ,

This is my first LED flashlight and i am very pleased with the quality,

One thing i am not quite sure about when i looked at the description on there website i thought it would be the XPG LED, but the paperwork inside says M10A-T6 (Cree XM-L T6 LED) and from memory this LED was slightly dearer , have i got a better LED for the same price ? I'm not bothered either way as i am no expert and probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference anyway just wondered .

So to sum up i would have no hesitation in recommending this company and in my opinion they justify there Recommended status ,

And also i would like to thank all the great advice given to me by the members of this forum .

I think that HK Equipment might have send you the brighter version because their site now shows the XP-G version as "no stock". You did well - even with the BLF discount, you saved $4!

I agree that HKE are great.

edit - just checked specs - apparently XP-G version is slightly brighter on ni-mh - 140lm v 110lm. Don't expect you'd notice though.

if the LED looks big to you, then it's a XML Cree. if it looks medium-sized, then it has to be XPG Cree. the size difference of XPG Cree vs. XML Cree is visible

congrats to your 1st LED light. you should get a 1xAAA light too! ;)

The XM-L T6 will have more output, than the XPG and the light will be more floodier (illuminate a larger area with a smaller range). So i wouldn't complain. If You are happy with it, don't think about the difference. Otherwise You will get on the dangerous and expensive path of flashaholism.

I have nothing to compare it too ,
