I have a few of the M10Rs. Nice lights but the output levels are not what I would want sometimes. the machining is excellent. I handled one of these and it showed the same level of workmanship.
I think that Ti is a fabulous material for an EDC light - that being said, I just can’t bring myself to carry mine. They sit in their boxes. I say buy it and it you change your mind, you will probably get about all of your money back out of it.
I have the Sirius M11R. It runs fine on 16340s in my experience.
Yeah, it’s heavier than the aluminum lights. But it is simply beautiful. It’s the shortest of my magnetic rotary dial lights, but it is not infinitely variable. Its steps are definite but very smooth. It’s a great light, but not the brightest of my XML single 16340 collection:

Does your M11R Sirius have gaps at between the tube and head and between the bezel and the head? Mine does as in this photo
- Does yours have serial number? Mine has none
- The modes on the Sirius on Sunwayman site are
High: 160 Lumens (2hrs) or 300 with RCR123 – Mid: 100 Lumens (7.5hrs) - Low: 1 Lumen (168hrs) - Firefly 0.5 lumen (30 days)
while the alu M11R are
180 Lumens (1.5hrs) - 60 Lumens (10hrs) - 4 Lumens (70hrs)
How’s yours, the low on mine is very bright, I would say definitely more than 4 lumens, let alone 1 lumen
- How do you compare the Turbo between your RRT-01 and Sirius?
- Have you tried opening the RRT-01? I tried on mine but could not - the thread is locked too tightly. How to open without damaging the light :~
I measure 76.5mm but I don’t have a caliper. Maybe I should get one (suggestion?)
So the gaps are there on every light. In fact I check the SWM website and it’s also on their photo!
What are your comments on other points I raised?
The last 2 (and only) Sunwayman lights I received have both been defective, Wallbuys said Sunwayman won’t send them replacements so they can’t give me a replacement or a refund. I contacted Sunwayman the first time and they told me to contact the retailer, now Wallbuys told me to contact the manufacture again… I’m waiting to see how they handle it.
Both are R10A’s, one constantly flickers on high and the other is stuck on high and its near impossible to turn on low even with 100+ clicks.
