Thats strange indeed, just like with Klarus P2A deal not so long ago, perhaps they have one or two items left as old stock and want to clear it and make such bogus clearance sale with only one piece per item?
I’m too late too, I have actually been eyeing off this light for weeks but resisting to buy it. I would have bought it for $18.
They probably put it for sale for $18 because they aren’t selling any, then notice a lot sell in 1 day and jack up the price thinking they will still sell at the same rate.
They jack up prices to make sure nobody buys from them I guess. I haven’t bought from DD in months. I used to shopmthere more than all other places combined but the deals just aren’t there anymore.
Sveqs, so true, I was hesitating as well, but decided to get it, because I wanted it long time ago and even tho 2AA might not be the best size-performance combination, its low mode and somewhat decent build quality seemed ok deal for 23.99$!
However, I had 10$ gift card to use which they issued for cancelled-out of stock order recently, thats why I acted on this deal anyway :D!
And to make it clear - I use DD only when there are decent deals available or when something costs cheaper than everywhere else, other than that I dont prefer them over other Chinese vendors
However, their way of handlind problems has been OK so far, always got either my items or gift cards in equal amount, but I do understand, that normally people dont have time and will to deal with their CS and slow response and slow gift card compensation issuing process…
Its rather weird that they shipped my item in less than few hours, it usually takes them around 3 to 4 days to process the order, I hope they have shipped it out instead of telling lies about lost shipment and then offering yet another gift card to compensate…
After that it was back to normal price.
