Hmm… I wonder if I should delete the price so that the employees don’t set a MAP for themselves for individual sales?
Try changing the color like I did in the post above. If they're not savvy enough to communicate amongst themselves to bring forward a deal instead of finding a way to bring deals to a screeching halt, then they probably can't figure out that they need to highlight the text to see the price.
Good idea, although I’m not sure how effective it would be. ![]()
If I ever part with the X40, I’ll give you first dibs. But I don’t see that happening anytime soon. Its a very sweet light and even more compact than the k40.
As for the K50 - I’m really interested.

It's nice, but I don't see the point. This is predominantly a thrower, and I don't know about you guys, but I don't need nearly as much battery life for throw as I do for the 5-20 meters in front of me. *I also don't get how v54 thinks he'll get ~20% more throw when the head diameter is the same.*
It’s not the same, K50 V2 has bigger head (and reflector of course) - it’s only 9,8mm narrower than Olight SR90/95! (90,2mm vs. 100mm, K40 has 76,2mm)
Thanks. I read that post above where a Supbeam rep gave InfinitusEquitas the wrong information. They could really use a new set of reps.
Now I'm a little interested, but if I could, I'd rather have this kind of update with the BTU Shocker. A bigger head and 6x18650 would give it longer throw while still maintaining a more usable amount of spill, better battery life, and better balance.

im all with you on this one, plus a side switch would be nice!
What morons. Can’t they come up with their own shit instead of copying fenix style spec sheet….
No respect to such manufacturers. I won’t even consider them.

Both informations are correct, V1 version had the same head as K40, V2 has bigger one.

lol. agreed.
It does look a bit overpriced i agree… this type of light i would only ever buy from vinh after hes looked over and modded the light… he is already saying around $200 for a modded light which is really steep imo
its going to have to break 750kcd modded for me to buy one… otherwise im happy with my tn31vn which is around 500-550k
I don’t think many of us would need the “Unique magnetic charging structure charging in parallel, discharging in series.” We could save quite some $$ there if a GB is held.
+1 same with X40. I still hesitate to charging battery directly in flashlight’s tube.

Have you measured the time for a complete charge? I can’t imagine using an 5V 1.0A adapter let alone a USB 2.0 output (500mA) to charge the cells in parallel.

Sorry, I don’t have X40. I mean want to buy one and the price for X40 possibly lower without that charging feature ![]()

$200-215 depending if you want the box.
Anyone have either on order yet?
Looks awesome but out of price range T_T

Yup, I’ve got one ordered from Vinh. If he can boost it to 6A plus, it’s gonna be a monster thrower.
Just wonder how did they do that, charging in parallel while the battery configuration is in series.
Here you can see my first impressions of the K50 V2
At 4 meters I measured 225600 cd.
Best regards
Markus

Thanks for your first impressions & welcome to BLF!
225kcd is about the same than TN32. That's good to hear! I measured "only" 206kcd from my sample (TN32 was 223kcd with the same setup).
Did you measure / estimate the lumen output too?
Edit: Or did you measure the initial throw? My measurement was after 30s..
Hi.
Thank you for the welcome.
I measured on a tripod to wall.
225kcd I measured after about 45 sec.
The lumen output I have not measured yet.
Best regards
Markus
it looks like the battery carrier is 4x 18650 in parallel - so “charging in parallel” is accurate i guess?
