Supbeam X60 exceptional group buy: 100 units required but the price is sweet!

Recently I’ve made inquiries about X60, I purposely asked few different sales person, this is what I get:

1) Alice quote me X60 $299usd without battery.
2) Few days later, Cora quote me X60 $299usd free 6pcs Supbeam 18650 2600.
3) A week later, Bella quote me $299usd free 6pcs Supbeam 18650 3400.

Wow… different person quote different spec. It seems like their X60 hard to sell !!
With this price, I would really go for Fenix RC40.

@Novus: Are you from Europe? We are about to start taking pre-orders for the X60 on our website as well, it will be launched later today.

Please keep in mind that the Supbeam X60 is miles ahead of comparable lights such as the RC40.
It provides 5000 lumens maximum, with a plateau at 3500 lumens, excellent interface, excellent design and finish, and a great charging system. At those prices and with that performance, there aren’t many lights that can compete.

Quality and design-wise you can’t beat Olight’s SR95 and the throw of the X60 is not as good as the beamy SR95S-UT.
Some features like the blue leds on the back of the RC40 are quite neat too.
But this is a great light that outperforms every other light in this segment, for the budget-conscious user who wants something that just fulfills the intended duty of being compact and ridiculously bright.

We work closely with Supbeam as their distributor in our region (France & Benelux), but we are independent with our own quality control system, so you can purchase the lights in all confidence from our website, using Paypal or bank transfer. Your purchase is covered and we do the support locally, so you don’t have to ship the lights back to China if there is a problem with them.

We cover return expenses within the EU, if ordering from outside the EU but within geographical Europe, we cover returns costs up to 20 euro’s.

Dear Budgetlightforum,

The X60’s pre-orders are launched today with an exclusive offer for our European flashaholics!

This is not another boring group purchase.
No this time, you, the flashaholics, will play the main role in determining the final discount!
Your task will be to share the information with your friends, your family, your neighbor, your neighbor’s dog, your father-in-law, friends of friends, ex-wives, perfect strangers and the rest of the world.

Please visit the following link for all the relevant information: http://www.supbeam.fr/X60madness.pdf

The deal expires on Halloween: we’re giving a 5% cash-back if we get to 30 units, and an astonishing 10% cash-back if we get to 60 units, in pre-order.

That’s on top of the huge discount that we already give in the launch offer!
Deliveries are planned for early November, out of Belgium. Quality control and returns will be handled from Belgium, which means that you have everything to gain from it!

Remember, the final Gong will be at midnight on Halloween… :face_with_monocle:

No, a boring group buy would mean new dealers didnt interfere with ongoing deals to offer it for more than what the original group buy was agreed upon

@Pulsar: I would appreciate if you could elaborate? I’m not following you.

I had an x60 group buy lined up for about a month that was canceled last night because the dealers wanted to be protected.

but, but! there is only one dealer!!!

That is simply not correct! There are many dealers with Supbeam flashlights.

Dear X60 fans,

Due to negative feedback from many interested guys regarding the Madness campaign price, and a lot of wait-and-see, we are moving to plan B. We also realise that for many people this is still a lot of money, so for this time we have decided to offer a unique, once in a lifetime deal to celebrate the new Supbeam X60:

We are going to work with a coupon: you can purchase a coupon that gives right to a X60 kit including a 6-set of 18650’s.
The coupon is sold for only 200,00 EUR including 21% VAT (or 165.29 EUR excl. VAT), excluding shipping.

As far as I know, it’s going to be 2600 mAh Samsung 18650. People will have the chance to upgrade to 3400 mAh for +/- 20 euro’s, if the deal goes through.

Coupon validity:
For the deal to go through, we need 100 coupons to be sold by November 5th at midnight.

If we don’t reach the 100 coupons, the deal will be cancelled and you will get a full refund within 3 business days on your Paypal account.
It’s more or less similar to what Groupon does, only without the middle-man (Groupon).

Only Paypal payments will be accepted, to facilitate the refund in case that the deal doesn’t go through, but also to eliminate fraudulous orders. Paypal guarrantees 100% security for your purchase.

Can I count on you guys to spread the word? 100 units is a lot and every bit will help to reach this goal.

The counters start at 100 available coupons/vouchers, available for purchase on www.supbeam.fr/store
We will also accept orders from our friends outside the EU, but the shipping prices are a bit higher. Buyers outside the EU will not pay VAT, so the offer will be around 225$ + shipping for them.

For those who subscribed to the X60 group purchase, there will also be a little small present to go with the X60, if the deal goes through.

We will open a Facebook page by the end of next week, to show-off a sample of the X60!

The only conditions that you shall keep in mind and transmit to others:

  1. The lights purchased through this offer shall not be resold and are for personal or professional use only!
  2. If you miss this opportunity, don’t come waste our time asking for the same discount. Such requests will be ignored.

You can direct any questions to sales@supbeam.fr

PS: We don’t earn a single cent on this promotion, so we hope that you can become our ambassadors and promote our brand through this promotion, as much as possible!
Do not hesitate to share this offer on forums and on social media. Most forums don’t allow us to do this, so we need your support.

Will you drop ship from China or France? It’s cheaper for me from China, obviously.

Hi Supbeam_France

I don’t plan to get X60 at this moment, your guys may proceed to group buy. Thanks a lot.

Wow great news…

Recently I complained to Supbeam X60 5000lms only last 3 min, they told me that they’re enhancing X60 to sustain 5000lms without stepping down to 3500lms.

glad to hear that!!

Any reply please?

@xed888: no drop shipping.

12 days left and still 90 out of 100 vouchers to go. Am I overestimating the power of Budgetlighters? All that time you spent on these forums for a chance to get the ultimate kill buy… This is it! Don’t let it pass!

Please note that currently our inboxes are clogged with a lot of unnecessary questions and special requests about this GB from people trying to nickle and dime us and take advantage, which adds to the workload of our team. This is already a non-profit operation, so I would prefer a little bit more appreciation and cooperation. If you don’t like the offer as it stands, please move on.
Regarding the technical questions, approximate specs are already on the boards and for the rest think of it as a bigger version of the X40.

Also, even if we don’t reach the 100 vouchers, those who bought in will still get a great, closed-doors deal from us, depending on the total volume reached.

Buyers from overseas who are complaining about shipping costs.
If the shipping cost is too high, then there is nothing we can do about it and perhaps this deal isn’t for you.
This deal is meant primarily for our local European buyers. Please stop trying to bargain the shipping cost, it won’t happen.

I’m actually surprised 10 people have bought vouchers, not many (including myself) are prepared to spend hundreds of dollars on an unreviewed torch (especially on a site called Budget Light Forum)

Opps… Another sales person told me supbeam do not plan to modify X60 sustain at 5000lms as this will shorten the lifespan of led. :frowning:

I won’t place the order as long as no review for these beast !!
Btw $299 is still pricey for this no reputation brand.

Supbeam is going down in flames and the fire hasn’t even started yet.

They shouldn't, but it's what happens when you try to peddle marketing BS to hobbyists.

Let's all say it together so maybe the head honchos at SB can hear us;

WE WANT INDEPENDENT REVIEWS!

That's a lot of money for something that might not even exist, much less meet its claimed specifications. I'm actually starting to consider this, but would only risk spending that much of my hard earned money if it's a proven performer.
