yuck.
You should never get less lumens than the dollars you paid for it.
Now thats a CPF worthy torch… kinda low priced though but i am sure it would reach easy 9k USD after mods
” Designed to mount on a .50 caliber machine gun-to either the gun’s sleeve or shield-the adaptable HellFighter can also be mounted on an M44 Minigun ”
50 caliber has a serious recoil though
hellfire?
hell no
Free shipping Woo Woo!
And for that price, you’d think it would include all the accessories… nope. That’s all extra.
no moonlight mode. ![]()
I have a hellfighter II for sale for less than 500, they only carry this hefty price tag when new, but used ones are much cheaper.
I bought mine several a years ago when there was the SF collecting fever… In fact I have two hellfighters, one of them modded with a external battery pack. The sheer output and throw of the HID is simply amazing…
At that price I would expect it to be hand delivered!
I'm sure it's a very well made product designed for a specialty market that very few of us would ever require. I don't think I'd trust fitting a ****fire clone to a .50cal if my life depended on it, no matter who had modded it for me. But $7,000!
I learned early on in this hobby that Surefure built its business model on selling overpriced items to military and government contractors. Seems like little has changed.
A Sipik SK68 can out throw it.
a Sipik SK68 running on a 14500 will out throw a lot of lights! Perhaps the ‘best buy’ light ever in my opinion, the Sipik. Of course everyone is aware of this ![]()
2000 yds. Somehow I don't think you can throw a Sipik that far!
Hell no ![]()
With that price even group buy need thousands people to get decent price
Now that is a standard to live by!! ![]()
Darn, I loaned my Browning .50 cal machine gun to my grandma last week; not sure when I’ll get it back.
I dumped those overpriced pieces of s…t ages ago… my last SF was a first generation (Ribbed head) KL1 with a Luxeon batwing led that had a horrible purple tint!
Good riddance!!!
+1000 ![]()
why are surefire lights always so expensive? is it strictly because they are American owned? are they made in the USA?
At only 3000 lumens, it probably contains a measly 30-35 watt HID.
