Your link doesn’t seem to work. As far as I know, CustomLites makes only a handful of D36 drop-ins.
I have used his dropins before in a D26 torch, they work as advertised. I’m not sure of your question, were you looking for a recommendation on his products, or looking for a DIY build for your M3?
Just want to give this old girl new life ,a do-it-yourself Mod would be OK as long as it’s not too technical .
