Lock the white balance - you can see why on any of my reviews in Jayki's site.
I use ISO200 (The sensor gets too noisy beyond that)
4 Seconds
f2.6 (Wide open)
5.8mm focal length (Pretty much 35mm equivalent on 35mm film)
Those settings give decent results with my camera. Most DSLRs have much better and lower noise sensors so you can afford to up the ISO setting and shorten the exposure. My sensor gets visibly noisy at ISO400 and above so I never use it. It goes to something like 1600 which is probably completely unusable.
You will need to experiment a bit but if you start around there it might help.
Cheers mate will have a go later, ill tether it to my powerbook so i can get an instant full screen review. seem quite a dark nite tonight so should be good
Hope all goes well.......so whats the pic going to be or is it a surprise.
Depends on how well they come out
Well go to the post office and send it too me.....and i will make sure that the pics are high quality. lol
Sounds like a gud idea to me, or you could just fly over here and take them 4 me lol
Sorry but no......lol.....though it would be a nice visit.
ok ill just have a play with the pics myself
Cant wait to see your results,I’ll be doing the same in a few weeks.
