Tell us: What is the highest quality flashlight under $40?

Just what the title says, what do you think is the highest quality flashlight under $40? You can judge based on look, feel, performance, or whatever other category you choose.

I really only look at flashlights as hosts instead of complete lights, so for that reason I vote for the XinTD/Convoy X3. Every time I pick it up I am impressed. It feels amazing, all the individual parts are top notch, and the gray ano really stands out among a sea of black lights.

Got mine recently, loving it for what I use and it looks/feels like a much more expensive item than what I paid for it, under $25… But I am a man of limited means and wants….

Since the Fasttech LED Lenser I bought had the heat sink compound under the star missing, I vote for the CNQ zoomy host.
Others include the AKORay AK12, the TangsFire C8 and the Sipik SK-73.
The TrustFire Z8 stands out with its square (trapezoidal) threads cut in stainless steel, but one of mine had hidden machining errors in the twist zoom.

XinTD C8 V5 XM-L2 U3, awesome beam, awesome feel, and awesome finish plus it’s cheap

I paid less than $40 but it is more now, none the less it is awesome.

How about nitecore P12? I really like mine after about a year of use. It has features, but can also be used as a single mode, momentary or lock-on robust and bright light. Throws pretty well too.

I just tested the code, it still works.

+1 I purchased mine from Mountain Electronics and it is the only flashlight that has arrived with good thread lubrication. I use it on my bike and the quality is great. Impressive for a $30 flashlight.

Convoy brands Usually under $20…

Here is a $12 on GB but sells for about $17-18 usually.

Torture test video …

Gg no re!

With the BG coupon, it has to be he Nitecore P12.
Premium brand, nice thick construction, flawless anodization, great UI, available in NW, plenty bright and comes with a fantastic accessories set. A great deal if you ask me.

I thought the Eagle Eye X6 from the group buy is/was a pretty solid light.

Convoy, Eagle Eye, and XinTD are all good choices. I would also include the Roche F6 and F8 along with any of the Solarforce L2’s.

For the Convoy S2+ (Red) many of you are saying $12. - Where did you get yours for $12?

I got one from Gearbest for $12.99, is that what you mean?

To me, that’s $13:-)

Thanks,

-Chuck

Nitecore EC11 !

Convoys for under $20

If the BLF-SD10 worked properly on 4aa and D it would have my vote.

Can’t go wrong with a convoy S or c8…

I think Xintd X3 takes the cake though. Battery options and quality are top notch with good brightness and a simple ui.

Convoy m2 gets my vote

My bad. I’ll be more precise. Its slightly expensive for me at the moment for EXACTLY $11.21. Hope you like the precision!

Thanks

considering its value, usefulness, EDC , and overall quality
