Not sure what the other premium brands are. I think Fluke set a standard which I don’t think has been surpassed.

But I’m old-fashioned, and still believe my Fluke, Tektronix, HP, Teledyne-LeCroy widgets must still be the best. From experience.

But this is far from how to discover the usefulness of a multimeter for simple tasks, for which, many thanks.

For these, I have a few UNI-Ts and Precision-Gold’s. Also worthy, but not to be entirely trusted , no matter how many thousand counts. As in life, you get what you pay for, and you can’t expect a £20 DVM to be as good as a £200 or £500 DVM.

Nevertheless the bottom of the market scrapings for less than £10 delivered from China are quite good. I have two, And like them. Not sure they are worth the effort of a precise review, but there again, things can only get better.
