This is a high current cell from one of the top brands.

This is very nice discharge curves where the two batteries tracks at all currents and capacity do not drop much with current.

Conclusion

This is one of the best high current cells at the current time (Early 2019).

P.S. MORE proof that the Apexium INR 18650 2600mah and the Vapcell INR 18650 2600mAh [Green] are using this cell as the voltage curves are basically identical for ALL Three cells.

The tester you have uses a resistor based tester. Meaning current drops as the voltage drops, and therefore, the capacity is overestimated.

Yep, all Opus chargers read a little high on a discharge test, I know mine does. No big deal as long as that fact is recognized & accounted for.

I’ve got one molicel P26 ,had it for about a week ,on my skyrc mc3000 the IR is 17 ,& after first use ( after a full charge ) from just over 3 volts it put just over 2600 mah in when charged @ 1amp , I havnt done a discharge test yet.

Thanks,I know that. My Opus is usually 3% to 5% higher than HKJ.Although I have had some numbers in the last few years that were less than 0.1% higher.

In this case my numbers are 3.1% higher.

I think the opus is about right & here’s why , firstly it undercharges ( unless the solder bridge has been desolderd ) secondly it over estimates , so therefor one cancels the other out & it’s more or less on the money.

The people buying this cell are going to care more about the high drain performance rather than the total capacity. I guess it appears to be right in line with the VTC5A. Is it better? VTC5D is probably better but at a much higher cost

I use it in my TN42vn90. Get 25 minutes of max output w/ voltage @ 3.54V. I have 2 carriers[8 total batteries] ,just swap the carriers instead of messing with the batteries.

Another testers opinion: NO mention of the VTC5D,although he tested that battery.

Bottom Line
This appears to be the cell that was rewrapped for the green Vapcell 25A 2600mAh and Ampking 35A-45A 2600mAh cells. It is a great performer that beats the Sony VTC5A, equals the Samsung 25S, and almost equals the Samsung 24S or Sony VTC6A.
