One thing that’s different from the stock Hopoocolor app: everything in my app is computed from the raw wavelength/intensity spectrum, the same way hCRI.io does it on the website, instead of trusting the numbers the meter itself spits out. The onboard CCT/Ra/etc. the stock app shows comes from the meter’s own firmware, and that can drift or vary a bit between firmware versions. Working straight off the spectrum means what you see in my app matches what hCRI.io shows once you upload it, one consistent set of numbers instead of two slightly different ones.
It’s currently in closed testing, not on the Play Store yet, and Android only for now. An iOS version is on the list once I pay to join the Apple developer program.
Is there some sort of open “API” documentation i can use to automatically send data to hCRI.io
Because i want to make a “app” or program like this to automatically publish my measurements to the site.
But i want to use a different spectrometer and not the Hopoocolor.
Ideally i would like to have a workflow where i can just press a button and get the nice hCRI.io style previw of the datat.
from there add a view infos, tags, meta data. and then publish it to your database.
And an additional idea for hCRI.io maybe add fild or tag for License?
Because even tough i can Download the measurement data from the side it not clear to me how im allowed to uses it.
The api details are in your profile where you create a token. As for usage, that’s all in the website terms and conditions. Basically the data is owned by the users who are free to delete or make it private.
There also isn’t a way to download data from the site. That’s intentional.
