I have had this Light a UltraFire TH-T60 for a couple years and it seen its last day. Looking to replace the led and driver. Open to any suggestion from all. I like to get as much Throw as possible with this light. In the market for a new light with good Throw any suggestion will help me in what my next light will be. I do have a S2+ on the way with XML2 U2 hope is has some good throw. Thanks all!
If you really want throw start with a different host. If you just want it more throwy (is that a word?) then the basic concept is a small emitter, a big deep reflector, little wasted light to the sides (dedome) and crank up the power.
Nothing wrong with experimenting but there are a nice number of inexpensive lights that mod nicely for throwing (I’m a flood guy) mules are ok by me if they have enough grunt.
