Thank you BLF

Just saying thanks for all the good flashlight info and battery choices. I live in NYC, and while we thankfully missed the fully ire of Sandy, the flooding has hit us hard. I had to leave the apt where me and my girlfriend stay to bunker down with my mom in Forest Hills. In my pack I put my 2 XML C8s, 2 XPG L2s and tons of Trustfire flames and my chargers. When a tree ripped the power line from my house they came in super clutch, and allowed us to still function normally.

I had also recently bought my father 2 502b XML torches alon with some flames. He lives near the beach in Rockaway, and the lights helped him get out of the area after the power went out and the flooding went from bad to worse. He is still hanging on with his cat charger and lighting up my grandparents home.

So thanks for being so miserly guys, cause my broke film student self would have had to make do with either many weak, or one expensive light to deal with this storm. My thoughts are out to any BLFer in areas flooded, snowed on or otherwise damaged by Sandy.

Glad to hear you and your family weathered the storm, Jones.

Good news indeed. Good luck with the rebuilding.

UnfortunateJones, Great to Hear YOU and YOUR Family made it Safely and you are OK.

My thoughts and Prayers go out to the many who weren't as "Lucky".

Good Luck to YOU and Your Family
