I would like to thank Reuben for the nice HID flashlight. It’s came with the 4300K bulb in it and the 6000k bulb in a spare box. It’s looks to me it’s going to be a thrower. I’m charging the battery now since it was on when I got it. But the battery wasn’t in the light. But it looks about like a new one to me. I paid $115 shipped for this one with the 2 bulbs. Maybe since it’s an older one it will beat some of these so called newer ones that seem to be more spill than throw.
Hey you might want to run it full blast without the reflector and lens if that is possible. Mine fogged up which eventually led to the ruin of the whole light. Just a caution. Some on here know more about how to do that or if it is even necessary with your light.
This is the other one I bought from Reuben here who goes by the username night2day. I bought my Catapult V3 about a year ago from him off ebay.
That other 75watt one I got scammed on. I will have my money back by Dec 23.
But this one is I believe is going to be one bad momma! I compared it to my halogen spotlight on the wall. It looks pretty wicked to me. But no it won’t beat the halogen.
Oh, ok nice. Now they are trying to tell me I need to wait until the 29th before they will decide the claim even though I messaged the seller on the 14th. Dumb old ebay. So now I'm on hold for a manager. Enjoy the light though!
Now remember, too Glenn your looking at a 4300k bulb vs a standard 6000K bulb so it won’t be as white as the LED.
And too, I may need to play with the focus some more on both of these lights. There is a fine line in getting optimumum throw by where you have it adjusted at. I need some more time to play. But I think I got them pretty close.
So ILF how do you like dem 4300k? pretty good for the money right? The flood from this thing really kills the yezl at close range. Only CON is my bulb is all tinted and not 4300k no more and more to the tint of 5000k NW green.
