I thought it might be fun to have a place to post some parting thoughts before hitting the hay.

…I learned today that no matter how much you prepare yourself there will always be surprises when trying to complete a task.

Including your mother in-laws house almost burning down. And yes, that actually happened today. Everyone is ok, but they lost quite a few possessions.

So with the comfort of knowing that things could have turned out much worse, I bid my adieu for today.

Looks like it's about bedtime for raccoon.

Recently I thought I was done with staying up too late, but it's 5am here, and that's a little too late.

I've been thinking, and it has occurred to me that the small periods of time that BLF goes down makes me appreciate it even more.

And I like how the new site is usually quite a bit quicker than the old.

I’ve had to jump in on a 2nd job directly after my first one so the last 2 days it’s been work, urgent emails only, and sleep. It’s been nice to get off a little early tonight so I can enjoy BLF and coffee before going ballistic again tomorrow night to get the 2nd job finished. Bedtime for tired old folks like me!

Waterboarding at Guantanamo Bay sounds super fun if you don’t know what either of those things are.

I wonder if it’s time to pick up a new hobby… Maybe making paracord stuff for the tubes I can’t with on flashlights…

I didn’t check the thread again till bedtime, which it now is for me again. Good stuff, LOL at waterboarding in Guantanamo Bay!

I had some goals today and I got some of them done so good enough. I don’t have the energy to post my progress on the X6 Feldman edition so I’ll be updating that thread tomorrow.

I did however remember that my middle child lost his first tooth today and I’m pretty sure that the tooth fairy came, so he should be happy in the morning :slight_smile:

I’m up but it’s only 11:30 here on the east coast. Stupid time change has me all messed up this week. Anyways, It’s not always a good thing for me to post real late or early here! Anyone who has been here a few years can vouch for that. Don’t make me start talking about my Wang! :–5

ok all packed up for vacation with 3 lights in my backpack… wonder what the security guy will think… early morning flight to Hawaii!! time to go to bed.

It’s about 10:30pm. I’m trying to adjust to this time change and bore myself to sleep. I’m looking at my collection of flashlights I’ve bought from fasttech and banggood over the recent months. I have lights from Convoy, Jaxman, Eagle Eye, BLF, and Astrolux. They’re either tube shaped or big-headed shaped, like a C8.

I think to myself - when am I ever going to put these lights to an actual, real situation use???
