Somebody on here as talked me into going with a HID light. I have been looking at this one off of ebay. Says it puts out 6000 lumens. Don't know how accurate that is, but I can tell by the pictures that it will probably be all I need and then some. Would this be a good buy and routed to go form hose that know more about them than me?

I would love to own an HID light but Ive read a lot of bad things about them.
Though you would like to know since your in the market for a HID. Amazon has a Stanley spotlight for $70 .
my girl told me to find a flashlight in the $100 range, HID popped in my head... whats the best for that price? 2 or 3 mode, nice metal carry case. shoulder strap a plus.
if she said $50 range theres about 10 led lights that pop in my head, but she wants xmas ideas and its rare for me to be able to get a torch in that price range. take it when you can get it right?
