Hi there, I wanted to mod a recently acquired SF14 with a MTN-DDM running Crescendo, just wanted to get your expert opinions on whether the 15 or 17mm diameter size would be a better choice. Thanks!

I would go for a 17mm driver! The 15mm will be too “slim” to fit the pill! :+1:

K so I managed to get the driver on the pill, but found out the ø of my driver is a little too wide for the threads inside the head. I guess more sanding is req’d. Then I realized that the springs are too long as well! I was considering shortening the spring on the tailcap side; will the different lengths of spring affect anything? Thanks!

I’ll try to add some pictures later.

Please make sure the space for battery is good for contact after you shorten the spring. Also be careful with the spring in case it damages the battery.
