First off, this is a rant…
Secondly, this only happens every now and then, not every order is like this, but those who are are a real pain to deal with.
It all started, a long time ago in a galaxy far… Aw… still thinking about Carrie Fisher.
Well, this rant started about 3 days after I placed an order with banggood for two items, A gaming console, and a Micro USB 2.0 female to USB 3.0C male connector.
December 9’th, I placed the order…
The first item was around 20$ and the second item around 2$, both where in stock, seeing how it was quickly approaching Christmas I decided to go the extra mile, and pay nearly 11$ in expedited shipping.
After all, waiting for the standard free shipping would most likely involve 2 months of waiting…
The joy was short lived, as 3 days after I placed the order, I notices the orders page on banggood showed that one of the items wasn’t in stock. So I contacted banggood:
“Message:
What item is on back order? Both show to be in stock ?”
Banggood Replied:
“Dear Customer,
Thank you for your order
4.3 inch Portable Game Player Handheld Game Console Camera Video Music for GBA NES GBC SMC SMD[+Color;Blue
I am sorry to inform you that the item is out of stock at the moment.
Would you like to wait for it or change it into another same value item? Also we could arrange a refund of the unvailable item. Please tell me your idea.Waiting for your reply.
We are not sure when it will be in stock.
Warm regards, ”
The gaming console thingy. Fine.
So I replied:
“Do you have it in stock with a different color, if so, just send me a different color one.”
So they replied:
1’st email:
“Dear Customer, I am sorry that all color out of stock.”
2’nd email:
“Dear Customer, I am sorry that all color out of stock. Warm regards. Would you like to cancel the order and refund?”
3’rd email:
“4.3 inch Portable Game Player Handheld Game Console Camera Video Music for GBA NES GBC SMC SMD[ Color;Blue]
We are not sure when it will be in stock. Would you like to cancel the order and refund”
I replied:
“If at all possible, I’d like to wait for it to become in stock.”
They replied:
“Dear (insert my real name here),
Thank you for your reply. We will ship your item once they come back to stock.
Best Wishes”
Ok, I guess it will be a while, and it may end up never coming back in stock and I’ll get a refund. Ok. I was fine with that.
Then…
“Would you like a different item with the same value in stead?”
Ok, I figured they didn’t expect the first item in for weeks, so I said fine, I chose a different item similarly priced, a little cheaper.
Of course, they replied:
“Thank you for your reply. But there is only one 1065406 in stock. Sometimes the stock information is not so accurate. So I cannot guarantee this one will be shipped for you. Do you want to wait or change to another one?
I told them I’ll just wait for the original item.
A OK ? Naw…
About 1 day later I get this:
“Dear (Insert my surname here)

Looking forward to your reply.”
Next I notice the order status is showing “Shipped”
Wow, I guess they had one in stock?
So I reply, “It shipped Today!”
And the reply:
“Dear (Insert my name),

I’m sorry order - was split into two: - and -.

And item in order - is out of stock.

Aaand I replied:
” Sure, I will wait for this.”
About 1 hour later:
“Banggood Technology Co., Limited just sent you a refund”
AAARRRRGGGGHHHHH!
Ok, calm down, breathe.
I replied to the refund notification e-mail with:
“I didn’t ask for a refund, why was this refunded?”
Their reply:
“Dear (Insert my name)

I saw it showed being in stock, so I thought fudge it, I will order that ¤”#¤“# again, and re-ordered it with expedited shipping, again.
that order is doing fine, turned out the item is expected in stock on Jan 2’nd… lol
Back to the mess:
“KR xxx NOK = not what I paid, I paid nearly 11$ in shipping, and I used some points to pay for the items/order are you telling me you shipped a 2$ item using 11$ shipping, without asking me first? Who in their right mind would do that? ”
The order was 1/4 in shipping and I used banggood points.
“Dear
Thank you for your email.
I’m sorry we cannot help you reset the coupon, since order - was split into two: - and -.
Order - was shipped out.
And we refunded full money for item 1081563 in order -.
Hope for your understanding.
Best wishes,”
Well, at this point my understanding had run out.
Being polite, I once again replied and laid out my case, here is their reply:
“Dear

We are really sorry for the inconvenience caused.
How about sending you 100 Banggood points as a compensation for your order -?
