I plan on adding this next week to my collection if all goes good. But I may just get the Fandyfire STL-V6. But this one is cheaper. And it's got a big head on it.
I showed it to rikr and he was impressed.

If I figured correctly, it's got about a 64mm head on it.
interesting flashlight, the main question: how "strong" is the driver, I have a little doubt regarding the driver...
available on eBay too:
and the "brother" with stepless brightness control:
has a lot of styling cues from a trustfire X9
Those plunger-style lights are starting to look like WWII German "Potato Mashers" to me.
Specs say its 2A to the LED so its not ging to to be very bright. An STL-V2 or Fandy-V6 will smoke it for Lux and lumen output. I have an XML driven at a little under 2A and its pretty much a snoozer. Its a good cool running task light kind of thing, but if youre looking for XML-throw you're going to need to push the LED with something closer to 3A, in a properly heatsink'd host. Nice looking light though, looks like a 2-cell X9. Wish it were in a darker more olive colored gray. Reminds me of the tin woodsman...
The specs at the second link are nonsense. 3000mA !!!! with two cells is equal to 6A with one......lol Frying tonight !!!
3000mA is the claimed output, not input. Input is probably about ~1.75A at ~8V.
ILF, didn't you just buy the Marsfire STL-V6 clone on eBay? Same layout and size, no?
Nope.
I did buy a UniqueFire UF-V2 recently.
I say that light will throw well.
Well then…carry on!
It looks like a neutered SF M3lt
