This stupid STL-6

worked intermittently for a short while and then only after slamming it into my palm.Now…Nada…zip…kaputt. Tried different batteries, took it apart to check for loose connections.Couldn’t find anything wrong. Please once again give me a couple of things that I can do or look for in getting this crummy thing to work again. It was a looong throwing light, that’s all I remember.Btw it is a FANDYFIRE from Fastech. Thanks

you could have knocked a wire loose.
If you can access the driver there is probably a wire which is not completing the circuit anymore. you might want to fix it before you put batteries in it because it might short out the batteries you put in.

look for the obvious first

take the reflector out of the equation first check if wires are connected to the emitter

good batteries charged ? does it work without the tail with a paper clip ?

is the reflector shorting the emitter ?

One common issue with lights - take off the tailcap and make sure switch is screwed firmly into tailcap.

Then remove any oil/grease you may have put on threads. CRC/WD40 on threads helps contact.

i’m working on it

This. mine was loose, check it.

The most common reason for a light not working.

That’s what was wrong with my buddy’s.
