Thoughts about the future of LED lights

Actually doing such "reflected" lighting and alcove lighting is pretty energy inefficient, probably that'd knock it down to halogen levels. But the effect is nice. Plus for mood lighting you don't need it to be bright, just a tiny strip of 3528 LEDs is fine.

BTW if anyone is thinking about longevity about such MIC "budget" strips, the emitters have been running for about 1.5 years, some are run about 2hrs each night, some like the toilet light is run for quite a long period, like 5-6hrs each night. For all, i have blown exactly 1 power adapter (the notebook type). Not a single emitter has given me any problem.

2100 , I wonder what source of light do you use for your car?
