I want get a few of these as gifts what are your thoughts on throw and spill for this light

Nice light. I would buy it for myself. But I worry about the battery and charger and general public who doesn't know about the danger. When I gift light to my friends, they are always aa, aaa or 3aaa. Just my 2cents.

not bad i guess , i have never seen this light , the bad news though ...

the charger looks like a 220v euro plugin i think

European charger plug, plus I don't care for the looks of the light, plus I don't gift 18650 lights. Too many warnings to explain and hope somebody remembers/follows. The only light I buy for gifting is the RC-G2. Safe with 1xAA only and impressively bright for someone new to LED lights.
