Another wee pocket rocket build using up some spare parts I had.
This light has been sitting empty for a year or two so I thought I would give it a bit of a revamp.

Here you can see the 4mm QTC pill in the tail. The magnet holds this in place.
Along side it is a 0.2mm copper plate which sits below the level of the QTC, this allows direct drive when the head is tightened to a certain point, around 800lm.
The aluminium pill has a solid chunk of aluminium press fitted in with a solid brass positive contact.
The reflector is potted to the MCPCB with JBWeld covering the wire connections so if it does desolder itself the wires won't go anywhere nasty ;)

That’s easy to amass, all you need to do is ~~break~~ mod a couple hundred lights
