I'll start.
I AM HAPPY!!!
Because I got a JOB! WOOT!
After more than 6 weeks with no job I again have a steady income, a job.
I have gotten a job sailing in a small offshore company called Blue Star Line in Denmark and though the pay is terrible and the terms so-so it is a far better thing to have than to want.
By the way... I was already promoted once from 3rd engineer to 2. engineer.
I can not really tell in words how relieved I am that I have a a job again. No job -> no pay => SUCKS! No two ways to put it.
Thank you for bearing with me an my faluty humour and speliing BTW :-)
Hopefully daddy brought him a huge new cardboard box to play in  The people a few houses down had a new washer and dryer delivered today. The deliveryman left the boxes by the curb. They were spirited away within minutes by a couple of kids about half the size of the boxes. Darn… I wanted to build a new fort…
Congratulations Ledsmoke!
I am happy because I just performed in my first concert as part of a professional orchestra and it went great!
(I’m one of only two teenage players in the orchestra)
@ Legolas Jr. : Awesome! I played alot of music when I was younger and still play a little around the kids. But to take it to the professional orchestralevel.. I am impressed and hope all goes well in the future. Congrats :-D
Today I am tired. I am on board the ship Blue Beta and currently we are alongside in a small port in Denmark for repairs and upgrades to the drilling tower and platform before going to German territory to drill for more oil.
And during that we are pulling pistons and cylinder liners, cleaning up, getting supplies and a ton of other jobs that take up about 14 hours a day, not counting meals.
I don’t think a darkened room is going to be much of a worry to a blf flashoholic
But I’d definitely politely decline if he offers to show you the golden riviot, or asks you if you’d like to try a bit of navy cake
I am so happy for you. I've been unemployed, you'll remember, and when I found something - even if it wasn't all that - rejoiced and went out to eat in celebration. Now, I'm in the position (as you will be soon, I think) of having to uproot and put myself in a state of temporary unease in the transition to a better opportunity. That's the way it works--best of luck and don't be afraid to wait a little and jump over to the next better thing!
