Oh I’m sure it’s a real flashlight. Specs are really overblown but I have seen this light on all the gettin places. Amazon has a 10 pack of them for like $25.

I think I have not seen using a 08570 lithium polymer battery with USB charging before in a flashlight, that is interesting. But with this output and this form factor I’d rather see a single or double common AAA battery as it is a worry-less chemistry.

Maybe, but it looks kinda interesting, though.

Common Li cell for e-cigs, I think, at least it sounds familiar. So might be fairly regulated if done right.

Swap out the Angry Blue™ LED for a nice 4500K XP-E for nicer focus, or Hell, throw in a ’351 or ’219 and you’re good to go.

Lotta work for a 5buk light, though. All the innards might be press-fit…
