Top Ten " must have " budget lights

nice would love to see some inside shots of what is protecting the circuitry

$29.95 — the standard Arc AAA.

Lifetime warranty.
Fits in the fold of a wallet, 2-3/4” x 1/2”
Put in a AAA lithium primary cell.
Forget you have it, ’til the lights go out.

Yeah, get the other ones too, I did.
They’re for fun. I think about which of them to carry.

I never think about carrying my Arc.
I never need to think about that.

A XTAR Wk21 Meteor is a lovely little light. Takes a 16340 or any 123 size battery, and can pump out up to around 400 lumens with 3 modes and a blinky, XML with cool white, good flood with some throw. Used it out camping on the weekend and was delighted with it’s performance. Twisty head, magnetic tail. Brillant build quality. You can get them for around $25 if you shop around. An excellent EDC with real punch, and doesn’t get as hot as some of the other similar set-up lights.

I think the XENO E03 any ano with WARM TINT is a “must have” to get into warm tints on a budget. Neutral… no so much but it’s an ok choice. I’d rather hang on to the XENO E03 than say a 47 warm.

my new favourite keyring tankE09 works good  tiny package

Marsfire STL-V2
Small Sun C10
CitiPower X7

To forget the Uniquefire AA S1 in a “must have” budget light thread is a grave offence.

In light of it’s modest price & impressive throw, I believe it merits inclusion to this list.
UltraFire G4 MCU
Newbs could do a lot worse.
This light is everything I wanted in my first torch [DX UltraFire U4-MCU] that the U4 wasn’t.
The G4 also up holds the BLF fourm spirit!

Penlight-fenix or preon
Headlamp-can get one of those xml ones, but the 7 dollar ebay one works fine, if you got the money get a zebralight
Xml thrower-keygos or any reliable one like hd2010

UltraFire G4 MCU

This is my no.1 favorite budget light. And No.2 in all lights, only a bit after ZL SC600.

I have alot of lights and I agree with you, The UF G4 MCU is my favorite light, it does everything you could ask for in a light and then some!!! I just am so amazed when I take it out at night and see how far it will throw… I guess that’s why I bought 4 of them.
