trim or tuck?

on my first build, I trimmed the leads from the driver to the led so they were pretty much ending right where I soldered them and very little slack—- do you guys do this or do you tuck them / feed back behind the pill where the driver is?

It’s nice to have some slack on the driver side to enable you to easily remove the driver to service/reflash the driver etc. Especially if things need to be soldered very flat on the LED side to clear a tricky reflector. It’s also annoying having to unscrew the reflector and lose a nice alignment just to do something to the driver.

Not always a luxury you can afford though if things are very tight in the head.

Trim the bush, tuck the package.
