Trouble with D3AA and/or Anduril 2

I’m not sure what happened here, but for some reason my D3AA is suddenly stuck in some wonky mode where it can turn on, and be locked out, but only has one light setting. No ramping up or down, no turbo. When in lockout mode it still gives moonlight with a single click/hold and a brighter form of moonlight with the double click/hold.

I’ve done the factory reset multiple times, taken out the battery, but nothing seems to change it out of this current mode.

I noticed when doing the 13H to reset, it doesn’t look right. Doesn’t provide that POP of turbo at the end. It kind of pulsates, like it’s trying to get to full potential for the pop, but doesn’t.

Does anybody have any idea what’s going on here…in simple terms haha! Thanks!

sorry for your trouble… not sure yet, but simple things first

weak battery? dirty contacts? Not using Alkaline right?

what is the battery voltage?

did you already try a different fully charged LiIon battery?

Are you using a battery that might be too long, such as a button top Vapcel?

did you already try cleaning off any excess lube on the ends of the body tubes, and the contact rings in the head and tail where the body tube makes contact?

There’s a pretty good chance it needs a stronger battery. At boot time, it measures the battery response under load, and if the battery can’t perform, it aborts the test and imposes a hard cap on output.
