Can someone help me with modding this fake Trustfire TR 3T6 or suggest suitable new drivers.
I’m only getting 1.65 amps tailcap reading on two freshly charged Sanyo 2600.

You see those 4 Resistors (3* R30, 1* R25) on the right?
Bridge them and you should get more current.
But be advised, I've seen the two small transistors (between D4 and C5) go up in smoke. But that's not a great loss, these act as a reverse battery protection circuit (and carry all the current going through the driver). These can be bypassed if you promise to always observe correct battery polarity. Connect the inner ring to the outside ring on the spring side of the board.
I wasn't impressed by the driver in my knock-off TR3T6 either, so I built a replacement - but it's still a work in progress.
