Before being a blf member I had a couple of ti lights. 2x sunwayman V10r , 1x Jetbeam tcr10 and maybe something else. I kept one sunwayman and sold the others.

However, over time I’ve been slowly buying more ti. The recent arrival of Rey’s triple has highlighted I have more than I expected to keep. I’ve been trying to be very selective so I don’t end up with so many but alas…. There’s a stainless light in the midst of these pics too.

One light that I would still like to have in the collection is this one but my wife saw fit to give it away to her sister in Japan. Guess I’ll have to make another

A likely excuse
Yeah I much prefer titanium lights, lighter than steel, nice feel to it and can give it a quick sand over to make it good again. Just the heat issues to watch for.

When you posted the link on the Triple Ti Dawn I arrived here and saw the last post, hence my reference there.
I searched for “16340 titanium flashlight” and soon enough found that one!

I am also a fan of Ti, like the fact that they dont dent/damage as easily as alu. No ano chips as well on expensive lights. As CRX states, easy to clean up/polish out if any swirls appear(if desire).

Nice collection ven. I had a t20t but didn’t like how slippery the smooth body was so sold it. The haiku has always been a good looking light but this far have managed to refrain from buying one

There’s a light that’s caught my interest but I don’t know if I can justify buying one is a Tain Nova (TixDa or mokuti)

Thank you, yes the Tain’s are very nice. Its nice to have an extra special light now and then, just tell yourself your worth it haha. The haiku is one of my fav’s(i have lots of fav’s!). Bead blasted ti, sent to Tarik (just the head)for a triple 219b 4500k. I have said many times, but 16340 size i like a lot, just feels great in hand for an EDC type. Of course we have zebra’s that are of similar size but the advantage of 18650. I am certainly content these days, but at a later date, a hanko tesseract probably ti and okluma DC2 dark ti would be amazing. Unfortunately my kids take my pennies quick lol. Will see what 2019 brings………….

Other materials, as much as i like brass(too heavy in the most part for me in a light) and cu, again nice but a little soft. I would love a zirconium light, hanko or BOSS. Too much for me though, i have no kidneys, legs or arms left!(i type with my chin)to sell.

Its a want and not need though……….just too much in a torch. Guess i could sell a few to fund, but i also get attached………my lights are part of my family lol.
I always kind of wanted the T20t, i prefer the 16340 form over my AA/14500. I have a T10s also, which thanks to CRX sports a 219c 4000k. My T10t is NW and is left as is for now. Its not actually bad and quite easy on the eye.
