Thought I would share this, as I have never seen a 8.4v C8

Nice, thanks for sharing.
I might need a C8 extension tube in red…
My laser lives off 2x li-ions, but I find the capacities of 16350’s relatively poor compared to high quality 18650’s.
You have a c8 in red??
Not technically a C8, but I think it’s the older model of a C11.
I might just grab an extension tube and paint it or something…
Sorry for derailing the thread, Flomotion. :~
I looks like a modern magic stick ;)
ahh! that’s a c11, i’ve had an eye on that model
how does it lego with a c8?
i consider all led/laser torches to be magic sticks 0:)
and incands are fire sticks >)
Oh. I just hope the driver used in this light is not the same with the stock C8s since I’m doubtful whether they checked the actual input range of this light or not.
Stated in the specs is “10. Input Voltage:7.4V-8.4V” so theoretically a single 18650 (4.2V max) won’t be able to make it work. :~
However, if this light do run with input voltage ranging from say 3V to 8.4V then this should be a very nice light with more potential compared to single celled C8s.
i bought 1 from them long time ago… it’s meh… it’s less than 1 Amp at the tailcap
it can run on single 18650 battery, double batteries doesn’t really show extra brightness
