That’s a great idea. But I’m lazy and tend to store my cells inside the flashlights. I know, I know; I shouldn’t do that. Consequently, I never have more than a few spare batteries left to store - I’d never have 25 extras available!
I have the bigger case….I use it for……flash drives. They sell a smaller one similar to the Lighthound case. Never thought to use it to store batteries but…I kinda have flash drives to store in them anyway.
Thanks. That’s a heck of a deal if you have 50+ 18650s. I actually might’ve gotten that one, because I am finding that I can also store 18500s and even 14500s (though the latter ones rattle around more), and, even 2x10440s in each slot.
If you live near a Cabelas, their house brand shotshell boxes are nice and cheap ($4). I use the 12 gauge boxes for 18650’s and their 20 gauge box can hold AA/14500 cells, though they rattle a bit without padding.
Those shell boxes will work quite nicely. I do not have that many extra cells, most are in the lights. I have 30 or so 18650, eight 26650, ~10 14500, and who knows how many NiMH.
I think maybe 15 of all of those are not in lights
I need more chargers…
The 20 gauge box definitely requires a good thick piece of foam on the lid. I was able to dump them out of their spots with the lid closed when I looked at the sticker on the bottom :~
