I put together what I believe to be the ultimate budget weapon light. Yes you can get less expensive, I was looking for superior quality at the lowest possible price.

Started with a SolarForce L2P Body

Added a SolarForce 1-Mode XML T6 Drop-In

Then I added a SolarForce Remote Switch & Mount

This is the results (Photos taken with my Phone)

I am very pleased with the final result. I have a solid P60 platform single-mode light that removes from my weapon without the need for any tools. I don't have to deal with a bunch of stupid modes that would do nothing but frustrate me in a crisis situation. I have enough light to temporarily blind/ disorient any perpetrator I encounter in close quarters.

ummmmm... it's not the ultimate weapon light until you have this bezel:

Just kidding. I think you have a good setup there. The P60 is great for semi-auto rifles. I was originally going to do that for my dads .222 critter getter but I think I'm gonna go with a C8 if it's manageable.

I try to stay somewhat "under the radar" That is not a toy that would fit into that criteria.

I doubt either of us is under it, but that sure would make you a bigger 'blip' !
