I remember that someone has posted a Nage version of this light sold in Lightmalls. The one from DX seems to be having medium and low modes with turning off individual LED.

I have one I got the rage one from T-mart it’s actually a fairly nice light for the money. It’s cheaper at T-mart.

it should actually be easy to mod if you know how to stack resistors. I guess I will have to learn how now that I see all those unstacked resistors on it. The driver is not glued, it is held down by a ring. It’s fairly heavy duty looking driver. It’s one led low, two medium and all four high. The handle is very comfortable and well balanced the beam pattern is great, nice well focused hotspot with a ring free flood. It has 20mm stars that just fit in place. As it is it’s not even terribly underdriven.

I think I’ll be putting XM-L2’s in it on noctigons and if I can I will leave one of the emitters powered as it is now for low and then pump up the three others to as high as I can. That way I still have a low. Although the low is not terribly low.

As is it’s powered fairly well with about the same lumens as a good SRK.

Their designs are almost the same. Like they are twins. :bigsmile: I’ll go for that UltraFire version since it’s cheaper.

Just ordered the T-Mart one for $41.56, too good of a deal to pass up. T-Mart needs some recognition for having some good coupons.
