They wanted to add $1.20 for insurance too.
I prefer the ebay C8 XR-E for $7.50 + DD $5 U2 = $12.50 for an upgraded bin, PLUS one extra XR-E emitter to play with.
What is the current draw on this setup ?
Using the original driver? I never tried, I just direct drive. But my guesstimate would be close to 3A or over since it's doing 2.2A with the original XR-E (with much higher Vf).
