A few weeks ago i ordered a Ultrafire C8 with XM-L2 U2 LED on hkequipment.net
Last friday i received the package and they accidentally send me an Ultrafire C8 with XP-L LED :). I really like this light so i’m not gonna send it back.
But yesterday i ordered a XinTd C8 v5 with XM-L2 U4 LED.
You guys think the XinTd will be much better in lumens and throw than my C8 with XP-L?
And is it worth it that i also order a XinTd with XP-G2 S4?

XP-L HI C8 will always outthrow even a really powerful XM-L2 C8. Density of light gives it the edge. I have the XinTd with XP-G2 S4 and it also outthrows all the XMish C8 versions (except de-domed).
I think it’s not a XP-L HI but a normal XP-L, because it has a dome.

Ah, ok. Then throw will be right about the same as XM-L2.
Instead of a XP-G2 version get a XP-L HI, has more lumens than a XP-G2 and better throw than a XM-L2 or XP-L (with dome).
Where can i buy a C8 with XP-L HI?

Not sure if they are already out there, but you can always mod one. Or you can ask Richard from Mtnelectronics if he can mod/make a xintd c8 with XP-L HI.

Or, go here and select the de-dome option and pay a little more and with a de-domed Maxtoch, you'll have anywhere from 189,000 to 218,000kcd and you'll be in another ballpark altogether!

I have both, but ony the OP version of the C12. The drivers differ. Both are nice torches but the C8 has better output. I suspect it’s only a 2.8A driver versus a 3.04 in the C8. I’ll be preparing a review of the C12 and comparing it to the C8.
