Did anyone ever see this light before? I took a gamble and just ordered it. The grey finish is what sucked me in. The price seems kind of high.
Looks similar to a Solarforce M8 . Checkout the M8.
I’ll have to check out the M8. Didn’t know it had an extension tube for 2x18650. I always thought it was a single 18650.

Not sure why you linked a solarforce L2. No way an L2 is going to out throw this ultrafire with the larger reflector.
I believe the m8 is also cheaper in cost.
The M8 does look nice. Not exactly sure how many amps are running off the driver in the M8. I do have a few of the latest solarforce p60 lights. Their newer anodizing is much better than the old glossy look they used to have. The L2N and L2T are some of my favorites. The L2P is ok, apparently it’s HAIII but the finish is a little bit shiney satin. I’ll have to test the ultrafire when it shows up. Looks like the M8 runs from $75-80.

The ultrafire M9-U2 showed up today from Lighthound. Wow. Can’t find a single defect in the machining. Superb machining, comparable to solarforce or crelant. Has a very nice solid feel and beautiful black matte HA-III anodized finish. I can’t stop picking this light up. Has anonodized square cut tail threads and a nice black button that isn’t mushy. Also comes with a lanyard and green replacement button. Has a U2 emitter and a very very deep reflector that is absolutely flawless, not one imperfection. The driver has ultrafire stamped on that back of it and appears to be 17mm. Also comes in a very nice ultrafire black box with foam insert. Sorry can’t get pics up at this time. This light is too nice to have ultrafire engraved on it. Now just need to find these cheaper elsewhere. (are you listening fasttech?)
The reflector appears to have about 3x the surface area and 2x depth of a C8 style flashlight reflector.
