Ultrafire q5 wf-1200l voltage?

Ok so i just got my Ultrafire wf-1200l and its amazingly bright.
Ive seen ppl use 3 cells instead of 2 and wanted to know if its worth doing 3 cells and running 11.1v instead of 7.4v
If anyone has any experince with this please lmk.
If its worth it where can i buy the extension piece.
Also can this flashlight be shortened to use 1 cell 3.7v
Thanks

Where is the link tp the flashlight and what the voltage range of the flashlight.

If the range is 8.4v - 12.6v then it can run on 2 or 3 batteries.

If the voltage range is 4.2v to 8.4v it can runs on 1 or 2 batteries.
