UltraFire UF-T90 4 x Cree XM-L U2 Stepless Adjusted Flashlight (4 x 18650) @ KD

any beam shot? night time preferably

pretty much a nitecore clone mayb compariable to skyray king, TM11 etc.

AND WOW THOSE BEZELS LOL!! i sure can make 4x tiny holes into 3 inch thick glass for my minigun quad snipe riffle !! muahahahhaa

How does the output compare to SRK?
How does the switch feel?
Can you pls do some comparison photos with SRK and outdoor beamshot?

A review on http://www.taschenlampen-forum.de/ultrafire/19605-review-ultrafire-uf-t90-4.html said SRK 24,000 lux and UF-T9 is 24,700 lux

Nick, I cant compare the two lights anymore since I sold my SRK.
The switch has a rubber cover with a UF logo. Click it once and the light comes on/off. Hold it down and it dims. It also has a strobe mode. I like the switch. I dont particularly like the location. It sure feels alot heavier than the SRK. I’ll try it on a scale and see how much it weighs with batteries, this morning.

I could try to do some comparison shots outside with a Dry and a UF-T70. Earliest I could do that would be Tuesday night.

you mean niteye right?

Thanks for update Cooter, waiting for mine

Cooter, Do you think this driver of UF-T90 regulate?

1. At one third the price of Niteyes 40 but higher than other mainstream 4x18650 configured torches.

2.Likely to be inspired by higher priced Fenix TK45. It has a SKYRAY style switch. It’s beamshot is nearly spotless and overally speaking does not have surprises, no high regard at first sight. A battery compartment threaded section is same as SRK as shown. Finish is good except some sharp ridge edges and the knurling towards tail has been covered with bicycle inner tire sections making it smooth to grasp.

3.When the handle is removed, peeking into the quarter inch hole reveals several lead wires. Brave souls or UF might prepare on the opposite side a corresponding hole so as to make it through for a secure carriage. Note dirts or water ingress must be prevented with a stud and washer.

4.Stacking up in double column/row is a feasible good idea. The on/off switch could be so oriented to fully exposed externally. The light intensities could be varied in step from 1 Lumen to 1xN Lumen and stepless to 2000xN Lumens, where N is the number of torch units. Through openings and circular pegs could be used to stable the assembly. Rotational or sliding magnetic switch might posed problems.

5. The double tap strobe mode can be trigger unexpectedly and the UI in general is clumsy and marginal in performance. A firm pressure on the switch is necessary to cycle through the 1% to 100% light output.

6. The camera tripod quarter inch threaded hole is not reinforced and anodizing is far from ideal as bare aluminum is exposed. Under extended and rough handling, the handle should be checked for tightness. The screw with the flexible lanyard attached tended to loose as well.

7.The joining threads are anodized resulting a smooth and joyful silky action. One qualification is that the thread might not be strong enough for a fall from height.

8.For the street price I paid, a spare set of shiny SS bezels in the modest manner should be provided. Proper specifications with operating/maintenance instructions needed. Spare o’rings and lens should be included.

9.I found the torch with handle removed a lovely and fun toy with mod potential. A 26650 finds a comfortable home too.

10. 100% output is for sure after breaking the battery contact by turning anti-clockwise and resume. Seen here striking a wall 20m away and a lit up area about 10m x 10m.
The dimmed one is belived to be 5% output due to difficult adjustment.

11. SRK in Hi and Low for comparison.

its definately a wank factor torch

Have you made any attempt to remove the driver and see what it runs?

It looks so much dimmer than SRK, how did the reviewer on http://www.taschenlampen-forum.de/ultrafire/19605-review-ultrafire-uf-t90-4.html get higher lux reading than SRK?

I like that it has the tactical strobe operation so if your attacked, you can just whip it out of your pocket and stun your assailant….

Dang, I was hoping this would actually do 3000 lumens.

The SkyrayKing looks like its pwning

 And then poke four nice holes in em

1. the skyrayking he has probaly a dud.
2. if he is a reviewer etc more likely be payed or given a better modifyed version by the company to earn good review.
3. he has broken lux meter at time of measurement.
4. he probaly sells the things himself so  lots of reason why it has higher lux reading. could be crap batteries etc. etc

Could you possibly check the amperage that it draws from the batteries? it would help a lot.
I keep trying to decide between the new black shadow terminator, this, the new roche, or another SRK and some better batteries, its not going so well.
