Ultrafire X8 UV Mod

The UV LED that you linked is a generic 395nm one…not really useful.
I think you’ll prefer a good UV emitter in the 365nm range, which will make all fluorescent and organic material pop.
I’ve bought one from here and you can see my results here .
If you want to throw some UV light far away, you can use a C8 host from Simon and a driver .
Keep in mind that this emitter has a max current rated at only 700mA so you’ll have to remove one 7135 chip from the driver or you’ll fry the LED.

If you want a close range UV light, chose an S2+ host and you can add a filter to cut visible light
