Came across this unknown flashlight to me and had to have it. A AAA light that runs on a 10440, at 360 lumens! Sideswitch, lockout mode. Comes in aluminum, S.S., brass. L M H and strobe. Nice box, extra O-ring, carabiner clip thingy, comes with alkaline cell. Nice clip. I have a lot of AAA lights, most of the top ones, and in my opinion this one sits at the very top. Only other thing I would like it to have would be a magnetic tailcap. Shop around, I got my S.S. for $23 and change. Aluminum was $20.

I now have 5 of the brass ones, crazy bright and love that side clicky.

One pissed me off and I blacked his eye and bruised him up pretty bad.

tough decision. I would like a brass to go along with my S.S. I would also like a blue aluminum! I saw a video of a blue aluminum light that had the side switch lockout rather than twisting the tailcap. Not sure if those are even available??? Anyone have any info?

would a group buy be possible? i am sure there would be quite a bit of interest.

i been seeing this light come around and recommended by members as of late.
im tempted to try one due to the side switch. i have a weakness for great lights with side switches.

Brilliant little light. I have the steel version, love the finish and feel of it.

In fact with the battery choice its 2 in 1 really. Crazy bright or runtime. You can even get a glow in the dark diffuser which works well.

Side switch works well. Much better than twist head when it comes to using one handed.

Only one thing I would change would be the tail cap so it can tail stand.

Overall though I’ve not seen anything out there to better this little guy.

Yet the Astrolux A01 in copper still looks a bit nicer to me
But maybe holding this and really conpare IRL could change that, hmmmm….to buy or not to buy…

I have that light along with the orange aluminum version, they look nice & the nichia gives a nice warm light, they are nowhere near as easy to use one handed though, I find them very tricky.

4 of my Efest flat top 10440s work in my K18s, the other two work in my BLF 348 (hand warmers :wink: )

Far and away, my favorite AAA torch.

It really zings with 10440 (Efest V1 from Mountain Electronics, my favorite vendor)!

Can somebody confirm the SS or brass version also lockout with a twist?

Is it mod friendly?

They can be bought in NL for quite cheap as well Nkon

Let’s see if this baby can host an XPL HI NW or Nichia and Attiny85…

That would make it interesting as an EDC! I think the T85 is too big though…

Nope, no anodizing on the brass or SS threads, so no tailcap lockout. Just a double-click electronic lockout on those.
